Data Management Senior Managers for Global Advisory firm

Our client's Financial Services Office is a specialty practice that provides integrated advisory services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants, including commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers (traditional and alternative), insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations. The solution offerings provided by the Advisory unit include: finance improvement, operations improvement, market, credit and operational risk management, regulatory advisory, quantitative advisory, structured finance transaction, actuarial, technology enablement, risk and security, program advisory, and process and controls. The Advisory team includes individuals who have industry, client and product knowledge as well as quantitative, regulatory, project management and technology professionals. Our teams build skills which are both broad and deep while working on diverse projects with a sophisticated client base.

They are currently seeking information management professionals for their rapidly expanding Information Management and Analysis Services practice. The IMAS practice is integrated into all Advisory service offerings and specializes in helping clients manage and understand their data.

They are looking for Senior Managers in 3 areas:

1) Business Intelligence Leaders- individuals should have strong Financial Services backgrounds. Have good functional knowledge and understanding of risk, finance, compliance, and marketing/sales/service. Should have strong solutions capabilities with reporting, dashboards, scorecarding, and performance management. Should have technology competency with the current solutions within the BI space such as Cognos, Business Objects, and/or Hyperion. Individuals will be developing solution offerings and capabilites and partnering with various technology vendors and client teams.

2) Data Quality and Governance Leaders- individuals should have strong Financial Services backgrounds. Have good functional knowledge and understanding of risk, finance, compliance and marketing/sales/service. Should have experience in implementing data quality solutions (strategy, process and technology). Should have experience in customizing and deploying data governance frameworks. Individuals will be developing solution offerings and capabilities and partnering with various technology vendors and client teams.

3) Information Management Leaders- individuals should have strong Financial Services backgrounds. Have good functional knowledge and understanding of risk, finance, compliance and marketing/sales/service. Should have experience in formulating enterprise wide information management strategy, architecture and roadmaps. Should have experience in implementing solutions across various reference and master data areas for customer/counterparty, securities master, accounts and others. Should have experience in implementing data warehousing, data mart, and other analytical solutions. Individuals will be developing solution offerings and capabilities and partnering with various technology vendors and client teams.

As a leader in the practice, you will team with data management professionals, other service line leaders, and industry subject matter experts throughout practices to develop a wide range of data managment solutions that are customized to their client's needs in Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Insurance. You will assist clients to formulate data management solutions as well as perform data analytics around operations, finance, risk, and compliance domains.

As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for business development managing multiple client engagements. You will lead teams in all aspects of design and delivery of business and technology solutions at an executive level within the practice and the firm. This will involve collaboration with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents. You will also be responsible for ensuring high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status and managing staff performance.

It is essential that you demonstrate strong problem solving, project management, leadership, and sales skills. You must also be able to inspire teamwork, take responsibility for engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance effectiveness of deliverables and services.
