Security and Technology Solutions (STS), a key component of our client’s Risk Advisory Technology and Information Services practice, provides the building blocks for a secure and protected business environment. Employing state-of-the-art technology, our client’s security professionals deliver enterprise security and risk-based solutions enabling their clients to take advantage of the evolving electronic economy in a secure manner. STS professionals have extensive experience with information security protection, system security planning, information security assessments and implementation, security program development, business continuity planning and strategic technology planning. These services help companies validate their infrastructure, design and implement business processes and technology solutions, address regulations and educate and train management and employees.
The Infrastructure Availability Advisory (IAA) service line supports the overall STS objectives with a specific focus on high availability and performance of enterprise architectures against unplanned downtimes, system instability and or loss of access to key systems. IAA provides availability design, architecture, and implementation of external and internal telecommunications, messaging, application/integration and data management solutions. This service is intended to assess and advise about industry best practices towards a future state of 99.999% availability for all levels of enterprise infrastructure (telecommunications, networking, messaging, enterprise application/integration, metadata and data access/storage management).
We are currently seeking a Manager who will be responsible for leading projects or elements of multiple client engagements, including service delivery and sales generation, along with other related activities in the Security and Technology Solutions practice. This professional will manage engagement teams and provide technical leadership in the assessment, design and implementation of security and IT risk solutions. The successful candidate will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems to develop and improve security at both the procedural and technology level.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop project plans and work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents. Work with the team to document the business processes dependent on information technology. Ensure high quality client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
Requirements:

o Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related major

• At least 5 years experience in one or more of the following:
o Project Management Office (PMO) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) - issue tracking, assessment and identification of gaps, managing documentation, control and testing
o Data Center Consolidation, Engineering, Implementation, and Operations - including stakeholder requirements, requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, verification, transition, validation, operations, and maintenance for the business, functional, and technical requirements.
o Legacy System Management – assist planners with understanding the correlations between applications, systems, OS, middleware, databases, and other systems, as well as the implications of end of life of systems and the migration path to the future, which will allow system architects and product developers to properly plan.
o Enterprise Management (EM) including the organization, processes, and tools for managing and reporting on the enterprise IT infrastructure. Experience should include escalation, metricing, and reporting responsibilities for facilities, carrier, networking, servers, storage, PBX, security, middleware, applications, and services.
o ITIL Service Management - IT service management experience should include one or more of the following: service desk, incident management, problem management, configuration management, change management, release management, availability management, capacity management, financial management for IT services, IT service continuity management, and service level management.
o Ability to assess a client’s IT infrastructure (organization, processes, and technologies) to identify areas of process optimization, service quality improvement, cost reduction and/or risk reduction.
o Ability to assess a client’s IT infrastructure program using an industry standard (e.g., ITIL, CobiT, BS15000/ISO20000) or regulatory requirement (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, HIPAA) to identify areas of process optimization or to optimize the process of demonstrating compliance.
• Candidates must hold or be actively pursuing related professional certifications such as CISSP, ITIL or PMP
• Ability to travel (including potential overseas travel)
