Description:
' Provide tax consulting and compliance services to Financial Services clients, including Hedge Funds, Investment Partnerships, Broker Dealers, Community Banks, etc.
' Create and work on firm-wide initiatives for financial services tax issues
' Expand your project management responsibility while being the primary contact for the complete project
' Manage the overall project plan and project economics
' Supervise and train staff and seniors
' Evaluate and select alternative actions to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance
' Recognize and communicate potential risks, identify potential changes in the tax policy and apply new policies to tax compliance
' Assist in handling routine questions from federal or state agencies
Experience:
' Four-year degree in Accounting
' CPA License a plus
' 6+ years prior work experience (with some public accounting)
' Experience with Partnership, Corporate and Individual Tax required
' Experience with Financial Services taxation preferred but not required
' Significant supervisory experience (2 years min)
