Job Description

Focus areas within Program Management provide comprehensive services to design build and operate large complex transformational programs:

  • PMO Design Build and Operate: In this role you will work with our clients to establish a PMO or EPMO infrastructure to mobilize and manage programs by applying a proven PMO framework and methodology based on industry recognized global standards. You will team with engagement leadership to design, establish and operate day to day program and governance structures tracking performance, status and benefit realization across workstreams. You will lead and manage a knowledgeable team with experience in planning, controlling and executing complex programs and PMO’s.
  • Program Transformation Project Management: Assist clients engaging in a complex transformation by providing the end-to-end program management oversight. This entails designing and managing the structures which will drive the business process transformation and IT enablement. Identifying program and workstream level risks, issues and interdependencies prior to them adversely affecting the program through your deep hands on technical and program management experience. In this role you will work with engagement leadership in a multi vendor environment to achieve a benefit realized, on time/on budget transformation enabled through optimal program design. You will assist in the development of organization and operating model structures, governance and escalation frameworks and decision frameworks to enable support and drive successful programs.
  • Program Delivery Effectiveness: Our Program delivery effectiveness identifies the capability, infrastructure and design remediation actions needed to get the program capabilities to the client’s intended maturity target level. Our Portfolio, Intake and Demand Management Assessments build the processes, criteria and infrastructure needed to identify and prioritize initiatives in a way that optimal results and benefits are achieved. We assist our clients in the design and implementation of their PPM capabilities and placing sound project tracking, resource and time management practices in place. In this role you will work with the client and your team to provide a clear picture of roadmap and drive the remediation actions needed to achieve program maturity targets.

Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business.

Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.

Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • a bachelor’s degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience
  • a degree with an emphasis in Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics and/or Business; MBA, CPA, PMP, Six Sigma and/or Certified SAP Solution Manager Consultant are preferred
  • designed, set up and managed a PMO or EPMO for a large complex program
  • direct experience managing at least 1 end-to-end business process transformation enabled by a complex ERP implementation
  • multiple engagements in which individual revenue managed was above 1 million dollars
  • led multiple program roadmapping design engagements as well as PMO maturity assessments
  • understanding and experience working governance structures for complex programs and organizations. Includes definition of ownership, accountability roles and responsibilities, decision making frameworks, gate approval process, program wide communications, formalized and standard program steering
  • been a workstream lead on one or more end-to-end PPM implementations using Planview, Clarity, Niku HP, Primavera or MS Project Server
  • end-to-end ERP implementation experience within common technologies across SAP and Oracle
  • sector experience in Healthcare, Energy and Utilities and/or Financial Services a plus
  • experience supporting and participating in pursuit efforts. Experience with the end-to-end RFP process (RFP, Response, Proposal, Client Presentation, SOW and Execution) and understanding of client procurement processes
  • demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
  • a willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%
  • a valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
